Happy New Year. Yesterday I went
to a pub/restaurant called the Bull and Swan in Stamford, England. It was a
nice old fashioned house and the best bit was the outside archway linking the
pub and restaurant.
Service8/10
When I first walked into the restaurant it looked lovely. At the end of
the room there was an old log fire place and loads of pictures with beautiful
frames around them and the tables were set perfectly and the staff were really
helpful. The toilets were really nice with beautiful soaps and tiles.
Main 10/10
Normally I have a starter but yesterday I went strait onto my main. For
the main Corse I had a goats cheese and red onion tart with chips (that I
ordered separately). The tart was beautiful it’s presentation was magnificent
with a balsamic vinegar sauce drizzled on the plate. The goats cheese was lovely
and the tart base was really crispy, I adored the chips because they were hand
cut and they tasted lovely.
Desert 7/10
For dessert I had white chocolate ice cream the ice cream was good. And
the presentation was good with a little bunch of sugared redcurrants.
Over all it was a great restaurant I would recommend it to the highest
standard so the final score is 25 but I think it should be luxury because I
didn’t have a starter.
